Mission
The Davis Elementary School Media Center is the central learning hub of our school, where students explore, create, and discover a love of reading.
Vision
The school library is a safe, welcoming space that supports learning and literacy, encourages discovery, and fosters a love of reading. Students are encouraged to pursue personal interests, explore curiosity, and become life-long learners.

The Davis Learning Commons is open each school day from 7:15 - 2:45.
Checkout Policy:
Kindergarten students can check out one book per week. (subject to teacher discretion)
Students in grades 1 - 5 can check out two books. Books can be checked out for 2 weeks at a time.
Students with a book for longer than 2 weeks will receive an overdue notice. If a student has an overdue book, they will not be able to check out another book until the overdue book is returned. There are no fines for late or overdue books.
Please let Mrs. Shaw or Mrs. Murphy know if a book has been damaged.
Remember to return books on time so others can enjoy them too!
Schedule:
Kindergarten and 1st grade classes come in each week for a lesson and checkout.
I have a flexible schedule and am available for lessons daily with each grade level.
