Welcome to Georgia's BEST, a recruitment and retention support for educators led by the Cobb County School District and University of West Georgia (UWG).

The application deadline for Spring 2024 is October 18, 2023. The Spring Cohort, which begins in January is open for doctorate degrees only, will require three years of classes plus a three-year commitment to working in Cobb Schools after graduation. For Cobb Schools applicants to the Georgia’s BEST doctorate program, there is an Education Specialist (Ed.S.) degree prerequisite. If you meet the qualifications and are ready to extend your ability to help Cobb students, apply today!
