Winter/Spring 2022

  • January 11th, 2022 - Student Laptop Resources    View the recording. 
    • (For all middle and high school students.) In this session, students will be introduced to the resources available to them for their laptops. They will also be given some tips and tricks to help them use their devices more effectively during classwork.
  • January 18th, 2022 - Make a Map with BrainPOP    View the recording.  
    • This interactive webinar will provide a brief navigating overview of BrainPOP and demonstrate how to effectively use the Make-a-Map tool. By the end of the webinar, you will be equipped with the confidence and tools to get started creating remotely or in the classroom.
  • January 25th, 2022 - Microsoft Learning Tools    View the recording.    
    • Work smarter-not harder!  Use tech to support writing, learning, & collaboration skills with Microsoft Learning Tools.  See Dictate, Immersive Reader, grammar checker, and Editor in Word. In Outlook, learn how to write a professional e-mail to an adult with Read Aloud and see how you can use basic calendar features to help with planning.
  • February 1st, 2022 - Make a Movie with BrainPOP    View the recording.
  • February 15th, 2022 - Microsoft Outlook    View the recording.     
    • In this session, participants will look at Outlook in Microsoft 365 and in the application. Outlook is a personal information manager that includes calendaring, task managing, and contact managing. Learn new Outlook tips and tricks for 2022, and discover features you didn't know existed. We will check out dictation, insights, read aloud, and rules just to name a few.
  • March 8th, 2022 - Creative Coding with BrainPOP    View the recording.
    • This interactive webinar will provide a brief navigating overview of BrainPOP and demonstrate how to effectively use the Creative Coding tool. By the end of the webinar, you will be equipped with the confidence and tools to get started creating remotely or in the classroom.
  • March 15th, 2022 - Microsoft Excel    View the recording.  
    •  A spreadsheet is ALWAYS the Answer! Learn the basics of using Microsoft Excel, including the anatomy of a spreadsheet, how to enter data, how to make your data look good so it's easier to read and use. Session will include basic formulas, charts, pivot tables, and conditional formatting.
  • April 12th, 2022 - Show What You Know Using Microsoft Sway    View the recording.
    • See how you can create interactive and innovative presentations in Sway!  Get a basic overview of all features, tips on how to manipulate cards and where you can find templates to get started. Then participate in a work session to practice and ask questions.
