Robin Rohrbach

About Me

Robin Rohrbach was born in a small town in Iowa and then moved south to Marietta in the middle of her elementary school years. She grew up attending Cobb County schools and graduated from Walton High School. She has always had a passion for working with teens as well as advocating for youth and enjoys encouraging all students to strive for their personal best. Mrs. Rohrbach is determined to help students discover what brings them joy and utilize this along with their strengths in making decisions about their future. She has been working in education (teaching and counseling students) for the past 16 years. In her free time, she loves watching football, reading, and spending time with her family at the beach or lake. She is married to Chris (her high school sweetheart), and they have a daughter, Jenna, who just graduated from the University of Georgia. Go Dawgs!

Skills and Education

Mrs. Rohrbach earned a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Appalachian State University and a Master’s degree in Counseling and Educational Psychology from the University of West Georgia. She also holds teaching certificates in Early Childhood Education and Special Education specializing in Emotional and Behavior Disorders. Mrs. Rohrbach was a teacher and counselor for many years at Inner Harbour/Youth Villages, a residential treatment center for at-risk youth in Douglasville, Georgia. There, she worked specifically with the substance abuse and recovery program. She has also been a regular substitute teacher at Lost Mountain Middle School where she worked as a long-term supply teacher in Language Arts and Reading, and then as a school counselor. Prior to coming to Allatoona, she was a supply school counselor at Harrison High School. She LOVES being a school counselor and is thankful each day that she is able to work with so many amazing high school students.
